The Holy Hour

“A pious devotional exercise consisting of mental and vocal prayer with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. It draws its inspiration from Christ's words to the Apostles in Gethsemane: "Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour?” (Mark 14:37)”

Every first Friday of the Month there is a Holy Hour after the 5.30 pm Mass. All are Welcome! Every first Friday of the Month there is a Holy Hour after the Evening Mass. We meditate on the various themes of The Jesus Prayer Rosary meditations. “It comprises four sets of meditations which focus on the infancy narratives in Matthew and Luke, scenes from the ministry of Jesus, his passion and death. These include readings from the various Gospel writers. Finally, we are given insight into our experience of him as the Risen One who gradually transforms our lives” (Taken from The Jesus Prayer Rosary)
